Founded in 1777, San Jose is one of the oldest civil settlement in the West Coast. Today, San Jose the third largest city in California is known as the Silicon Valley. A throbbing business hub, San Jose is home to IT giants like Adobe, BEA, and Cisco to name a few. The economy of the place has created a multi-cultural society with only one of three being an American. With the diverse society lodging options also range from hotels, motels and luxury retreats. The side walks are dotted with romantic bistros, cafes and family restaurants. San Jose is famous for its wines. The Santa Clara Valley and Santa Cruz mountains are two of the oldest vineyards in the area which produce wine all year round.
